Welcome to my site and portfolio of photographs.

I'm a photographer living in Nottingham, UK. 

The majority of my work is self-initiated and as a retired musician my emphasis is on creativity. 

I believe the post processing of images is as important as the initial capture. 

'Painting with light',  in the digital age enables our photography to be up there as fine art. 

I enjoy printing my own images and agree with the great photographer Ansel Adams,  'the negative is the equivalent of the composer's score, and the print the performance'.
